Drawing a data date/progress line on charts

If your schedule contains progressed (Actual) dates, you may want to display the data date on a chart. This article provides steps to do so.

Turbo-Chart imports activities with actual dates from schedule sources. To assist with representing progress on a Chart, it is useful to draw a status date to indicate where earlier dates are actual, and later dates are forecast.

This can be done using the Highlighters feature of Turbo-Chart to either:

a) Draw a line at a specific data date, or

b) create a banded area up to the data date to indicate which parts of the schedule are completed actual start/finish activities.

To do this Select CHART>HIGHILIGHTERS and create entries as shown below using the dates as required:
