Which elements of Turbo-Chart are chart specific?
This article provides a summary of the different global and chart specific elements within a Turbo-Chart
When importing data and producing charts within Turbo-Chart, some elements are available across all charts, and some are specific to each chart within the file.
The diagram below provides a reference to these different elements
The following elements are common to all charts within a Turbo-Chart file:
- Datasets (and tasks within each Dataset)
- Shape Library. All the shapes can be displayed on any chart
- Location Library. Used for positioning tasks and displaying the location hierarchy adjacent to the location axis
- Page Layouts. Setting the print layouts to be applied to the visible chart
The following elements are specific to each chart - and may be different for any chart within the Turbo-Chart file:
- Chart/Top/Main image. The image is specific to the chart being displayed
- Highlighters. Each chart may display its own set of date and location highlighters
- Chart Options. Each chart will have it's own Chart options
- Shape Library Legend. Each chart can select which shapes to display, and which will be shown in the legend when displaying that chart
- Annotations. Image and Text annotations are specific to the chart being displayed.
When combined, all the above are saved as a single Turbo-Chart file
