Why does the exported PDF look different to the page layout settings?

When using the in-built "Export to PDF" feature in Turbo-Chart, the produced PDF output may not have the same size or orientation as the page layout used. This article provides an explanation and a solution to this issue

The "Export to PDF" function in Turbo-Chart uses the default Windows PDF generator, and works across all users of Turbo-Chart regardless of their print drivers. The diagram below is the easiest to explain the behaviour:

Turbo-Chart Export to PDF Function

In Figure 1, the Turbo-Chart window, notice the blank space around the chart, when this chart is Exported to PDF (CTRL+E), the resulting PDF file includes the space onto the PDF output as shown in Figure 2.

However, before exporting, if zoom into the chart as shown in Figure 3, using the sliders on the bottom right of screen (or CTRL+ Mouse Wheel Up or pinching out on a touch screen), to remove the empty space THEN CTRL+E to export, the resulting PDF is as shown in Figure 4 where the page is the size and orientation of the page layout.
